Remember the unique structure of the Loyola Kids Book of Bible Stories.
It’s organized according to when these Bible stories are generally heard in a liturgical context during the Church year. My philosophy is that Mass is the context in which most Catholics – including children – encounter Scripture. In addition, I hope that the structure – a retelling of the story which ends with a connection made to elements of Catholic faith and practice (example below) – help the reader and listener experience Scripture in the context of the liturgy and understand that as Catholics, we hear the Word of God, not simply as individuals, but as part of the Body of Christ.
